Apex started in 2009 when Dave senior fixed his first burst pipe in a Harehills terraced house with a borrowed pipe-freezer. Seventeen years later it's still a family firm — Dave and his son Josh run the vans, and the same two faces turn up at your door.

We're Gas Safe Registered, carry £2m public liability insurance, and every job is photographed as we go so you can see exactly what we did and why. No sub-contractors we've never met, no surprise line items on the invoice.

Most of our work comes from people who've had us once, or from a neighbour who saw the van on the drive. That only works if we pick up the phone, turn up when we say we will, and leave the place tidier than we found it.
